Thanks for having a look at this weeks healthy recipes.

We try to choose a range of recipes that will taste great, can be cooked at home and are healthy for you.

  • Fettuccine Marinara
  • Beef Stroganoff

 


 

Healthy Spaghetti Bolognese

 

Serves 4

 

 

 

500g heart healthy pork mince

 

1 onion

 

1 clove of garlic

 

400g tin of 4 beans mixture

 

500ml passata sauce

 

Basil oregano and salt and pepper to taste

 

400g whole meal spaghetti

 

 

 

Boil a large saucepan and cook the spaghetti

 

Brown the onion and garlic

 

Add the pork mince and cook through

 

Stir in passata sauce, herbs and salt and pepper

 

Add 4 bean mixture and simmer for 5 minutes

 


 

Healthy beef and vegetable soup

1 tbs oil

1 onion, finely chopped

500g chuck steak, cubed

2 carrots, cubed

2 sticks celery, cubed

1 tbs paprika

1 continental stock pot – BEEF

½ pearl barley

 

Heat oil, brown onion, beef, carrots and celery.

Add paprika and cook for another 1 minute

Add stock pot, 1600ml water and pearl barley

Bring to boil, cover and gently simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
